Busy spring

Quite a week we've had. Camping, wall-building, tummy-rolling, surgery and a great find (Among other things) :)

Addie turned 6 months on June 4th. She loves her baths....and her toes.
Orson finally learned to ride on two wheels. He took his time, but he loves being on just two.
We got rid of his herniated belly-button this week. The doc restricted him from lifting over 5 lbs. and playing in water (he can wade) for 10 weeks. Pretty crazy, but I've never had belly stitches.



Here is the wall I just finished with look-alike railroad ties. I put a bunch of dead-men in and everything. Glad it is finally in!
So I can't remember if I ever posted the first wall I built last summer. I decided on the interlocking brick since I had such a negative experience with railroad ties. So far I am still happy with them.


Addie likes to automatically roll no matter where you put her or what you are doing. She sleeps pretty well on her tummy too.




This is the great buy. I've been looking for a solution to hauling bikes while going camping.

This is us camping over Memorial Day weekend. Quite a fun maiden voyage for our pop up.



So I've been building walls, or rebuilding walls. While I dig up old railroad ties or dig a trench for a dead man, I pull up roots from the quakies and find these things. Not sure what they are but they seem to attack my tree roots. How do you get rid of them?
